Lost or stolen key security
When a key may have been stolen, replacing it is only part of the concern. On supported vehicles, the missing key can sometimes be removed from the car’s authorised key memory so it no longer starts the engine.
How the service works
Electronic deletion has limits
Removing a key from authorised memory can prevent it from starting a supported vehicle. It does not necessarily change the mechanical door lock.
